EPW - Grohe, Genève, quarter-hour repeater, 35mm, 18K gold OF original case with very attractive foliate engraving detail, signed gold cuvette, engine turned and engraved gold dial, KWKS, cylinder escapement, 10J, gilt mvt, s#5381 to cuvette. Comes with a small gold-filled chain and a fancy gold-filled key as pictured. Gross weight of assembled watch 21.6 dwt (33.6 g). A very attractive and notably small sized repeater.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, good repeat function and tone, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, scattered micro-fine scratches, steelwork with some scattered small oxide spots; dial with scattered fine to micro-fine scratches, small bits of paint loss to numerals; excellent hands; case shows little wear, no dents or dings, good engraving detail, cuvette with numerous fine scratches from past key slips; tight bow, push shows light wear; good glass crystal. Chain and key in fine condition, showing light to medium wear.
